The interior design in Tutto Bono is very much like any Italian Restaurant, but much more modern. The atmosphere is very nice, I’m sure you won’t mind staying there the whole night. And their kitchen is visible from the dining area, so you can see how they work, or just to check how clean their station is. Plus, if you’re an Oenophile, there’s an glass enclosed wine room too right next to the lounge.
At that night, we were welcomed very warmly by the owner, she served us with a Red Wine as a starter, and she also already made a special range of their menu for all of us to try. BUT, I want to say that I in this post, I will only tell you about the dishes that I truly love, I will leave the rest of them in my gallery. And I want to sincerely apologize if there are some of the name that I didn’t remember.
So, what did we try that night?
Tuscan Chicken Liver Pate
I actually didn’t know what’s the name of this and this menu is probably not for sale, because it’s the starter snack, probably they would give it to you for free. So how did I get the name? I googled the brief descriptions of the menu, and this name came up, haha.. Basically it’s a bread with Chicken Liver Sauce. If you’re not a fan of Chicken Liver like me, don’t worry, it won’t taste as nasty as what you think.
There’s actually a proper way to eat this Tuscan Chicken Liver Pate. First, you pour an olive oil and balsamic vinegar to a plate, then scoop the Chicken Liver Pate on to your plate. After that, take the bread of your liking (there are some types of bread on the plate), dip it into the olive oil-balsamic vinegar mixture, then dab it to the Chicken Liver Pate, and enjoy. By reading this, congratulations! You can act like a smartass because you know how to eat Italian Starter in a proper way, YOU ARE VERY WELCOME! <3
This is a platter that has a lot of things on top of it, from bruschetta, chicken liver pate, olive, and meats. I didn’t really get to try this dish because there were a lot of us at that time, and when I wanted to try it, the bruschetta was all finished and the rest of it were already on Taglere, which I also tried before. This will be a great choice if you want a starter with more variable, perhaps if you’re with a group of friends.
This one is also everyone’s favorite. It was creamy but doesn’t make you feel sick. Me personally is not really a creamy pasta person, but I tried a little bit of the dish and I kinda liked it. 🙂
What a mouthful title, lol. But this dish is very GOOD! This is actually not on the list from the chef. But Merli ordered it for us. Some of us jokingly mocked her and said that she’s very greedy, but I actually thankful for her ordering this, because it was just SO GOOD! I’ve tried Ravioli before, but I never liked them, but I instantly fell in love with this one just in a single bite. Recommended!
