Just want to share this little thought :
Never, just never be afraid to dream
about ANYthing IN LIFE!
Pray for it! Ask for it! Say it!
“Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it”
John 14:13-14
I have never planned to go to South Korea in my whole life
, I thought it was an impossible destination for some ordinary woman like me. I did not come from a wealthy family, but we’ve always had enough. My dad stopped giving me pocket money since I was in high school, and I hustled hard since then
.
After graduating university, I got offered a marketing position in an International Bank. Although it’s not a job that I like, but it earns me money, I gained some very good friends, and I’m able to save up quite a bit for almost a year that I’ve been working in there.
All I ever wanted was just an overseas trip,
I don’t care if it would be a tight budget type of trip, backpacking, whatever. I just wanted to step out of this country and see the world for a bit. So I prayed.
"Dear Lord.. Malaysia, Singapore or Bangkok are ok, as long as it’s outside of Indonesia. And I need a camera for my own, I love to capture memories. For this one, I need a good one, for taking pictures and recording videos. Any brand is ok, I love Sony though. But I will do some research on which one that I like the most. 😊"
And now, God granted my wish by giving me a Sony Nex-5N for free through a stranger! Not only that, God also made the overseas trip possible! Not to just some ordinary places, but to South Korea! A place where most of my recent idols live
. Not that I’m going to see them or anything but GGAHH it’s just feel surreal!
For a first overseas trip, this is quite overwhelming! And I won’t have to do it on a tight budget, I somehow (through His grace, of course) managed to get a few big customers, so I reached way over my monthly threshold, and I got an extra cash bonus! I do have more money to spend!
Crazy huh?
Since I started working, I committed to give ten percent from my salary to God. I also give to some of my church events, no matter how much or how less I made that month. And since then, I always have enough. He never let me poor! Never!
Now all I can say is :
God is good, All the time
Am I right? 😉
xoxo
